General Information

US Suites is pleased to offer fully furnished apartments for you during your internship with Nike in Portland Oregon .

We provide the furnished apartment with all its utilities, high speed internet and housekeeping services every other week.  We offer 5 options to choose from.

Option 1: 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartments (for one person). 

Option 2: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms apartments (for two people). 

Option 3: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom apartments (for two people). 

Option 4: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms apartments (for three people).

Option 5: 2 bedrooms, 1 loft, 2 bathrooms apartments (for three people).

Please let me know your first and second choices for options and I will try to fulfill your request. We will have a limited number of 3 bedroom apartments so those will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Fill out the Nike Intern Data Sheet and return it to me at llarsen@ussuites.com.

Prior to your Arrival

Please complete the Nike Intern Data Sheet ( linked here) and email to: llarsen@ussuites.com. Based on your completed questionnaire, and the availability of locations, U.S. Suites will assign your housing. U.S. Suites will make every attempt to honor your housing and roommate preferences but can offer no guarantees. 

Two weeks prior to your arrival, you will receive confirmation of your apartment location via email.  This email will include a corporate lease and a credit card authorization form, as well as specific directions and roommate information.  Please sign the lease and credit card authorization form and fax back to our office at 503-620-8593.

What Happens Next

Upon receipt of your completed Nike Intern Data Sheet, U.S. Suites will begin the process to assign your roommate(s) and apartment location.  Nike Interns will be housed in various apartment communities (linked here) in close proximity to the Nike campus. All locations offer access to public transportation, fitness centers and outdoor pools. Each apartment will be fully furnished and appointed with necessary kitchenware - a list of items is provided at the bottom of each property profile located on the Downloads page. Your apartment will have a direct dial phone with free local calling service only. Each apartment is equipped with a television, extended basic cable service and a DVD player for your convenience.

PLEASE NOTE:  All apartments in the Beaverton area DO NOT have air conditioning.  However; you will be supplied with fans.  Average high temperatures for June are 73 degrees, July 79 degrees and August 80 degrees though higher temperatures may occur.

Billing Requirements

You will be required to provide a credit card to reserve and pay for your housing.  You will be billed monthly beginning the first day after you receive your stipend from Nike.  The first billing will include all your nights of occupancy up to that point plus the remaining nights that complete a 30 night stay.  (For example, if your internship begins on June 15 and you are paid on July 2, you will be billed on July 3 for the nights of June 15 through July 15 which is a 30 night period.)  From that point on you will be billed every 30 nights in advance. (In the above example, you would be billed a second time on July 16 for the next 30 night period.)  You will be charged a prorated amount depending on the number of roommates occupying the apartment each night.  It is mandatory that a credit card is on file for every person.  We will ask the cardholder to complete a Guest Credit Card Verification Form.  This form must be completed prior to taking occupancy.  Credit cards will also be billed for any cleaning that is above normal wear and tear, or damage to the apartment upon your departure.  Damage will be assessed and discussed with you before the card will be billed.  We accept all major credit cards.  If you have any question regarding our billing procedures please call us at 503/443-2033.

Check in Procedures

You will be given directions to your assigned property when your location is confirmed.  Upon arrival to your apartment you will find a lock box on the door.  Your code will be emailed to you.  PLEASE put the key back in the lock box for the other roommates.  Your set of keys will be inside the apartment.

Guest Registration Form

When you arrive please read and sign all documents left out for you.  US Suites asks that all tenants adhere to these rules and regulations to ensure everyone's comfort while staying with us. Damage to our suites will be the responsibility of the guest, and we will bill your credit card for any such damage. Pets will not be allowed in any suite unless prior arrangements have been made and pet fees paid. Not all properties allow pets, so it is imperative that you let U.S. Suites know if you are planning on bringing a pet of any kind by calling our office at 503/443-2033. 

Housekeeping

You will receive housekeeping services every other week. The housekeepers will do light housekeeping service only. They will change linens, dust, vacuum, clean tubs, sinks & toilets, wipe kitchen counter tops, and sweep or mop the kitchen and bathroom floor as required. They will also report any damage to furniture, apartment contents or the unit itself, and charges will be billed accordingly. As we are the leaseholders, we will be notified if there are any complaints from other property residents about noise, disruptive behavior or damage to property. We ask that you are respectful of your neighbors, community rules and quiet hours.

 Check Out Procedures

Upon your departure, leave your keys or parking passes on the kitchen counter and leave the front door unlocked. Please do not leave any trash or a charge will apply to all roommates. A U.S. Suites employee will come through and collect the keys after your departure.
